The Egg Shoot gang is having a member only Egg Shoot. Sept. 29th. We are looking to get all old guns out of the gun safe. We want to get the members out to shoot. We have put together a match, that has a little of everything. This match is not set in stone; we would like to hear from everyone. We are looking to have a big Youth turnout. Bring the kids, and grandkids.

Rimfire
This match is to get all the IR 50/50 and Silhouette guns out of gun safe once again.
This can be shot with any 22 LR rimfire rifle.
5 steel target ea. at 50 yds and 100 yds. 1 shot per target only.
Factory and Custom Classes. YOUTH class will shoot at 25 and 50 yds
This will be shot off the bench with any type rest.

22 STEEL MATCH
Everyone has a 10-22 or an auto loader 22 LR
This match can be shot with any 22 LR auto loader.
5 steel target ea. at 50 yds and 100 yds. YOUTH class will shoot at 25 and 50 yds Score will be fastest time. Unlimited round
This will be shot off the bench with any type rest.

PISTOL SILHOUETTE
This match is to get the old Hunter pistol and IHMSA guns back out shooting.
This will be shot off the bench with any type rest. Guns can be pistol scoped or have a Red dot. No rifle scopes.
Smallbore 5 steel targets ea. At 50yds and 100yds
Bigbore 5 steel target ea. at 100 yds and 220 yds. 1 shot per target only.

Factory, Custom Classes, and Open Sight classes for each.

HUNTER RIFLE
Targets will be 5 mini 2.5” clays at 200m and 5 – 4” clays at 330 yds
10 min time limit, Unlimited rounds . Sighters before relay starts.

Classes
Sporter / Deer Legal: any gun with a deer legal round that you would carry for deer
Varmint / AR: any thing goes, heavy barrel, AR class gun,
Small Cal Gun: any gun 22 cal. Or less that fits a 223 boltface or smaller, any 20 cal or smaller, ( 222 mag, 223, 204, 17 Rem, 17FB, etc )

EGG SHOOT
Rimfire eggs will be shot at 100 yds
Big Bore Pistol eggs will be shot at 100 yds.
Hunter Rifle eggs will be shot at 330 yds.

This 15 hour class is for both the beginner and the experienced shooter, and satisfies the requirements by the state of Virginia for a concealed carry permit.  The beginner shooter will learn the basics as presented by the NRA including safety, marksmanship, nomenclature, cleaning, shooting sports, and more.  The experienced shooter will review basic skills to improve marksmanship, correct problems in marksmanship, or you can introduce a new shooter to the sport by attending the class together.  The concealed carry part of this class covers “The Five Rules for Concealed Carry,” where to carry and where NOT to carry, the three A’s, what type of handgun you are best suited to carry, types of carry holsters, how to get your permit, plus more range time giving you an opportunity to shoot a variety of handguns that may help you decide what is best for you.

Pre-registration is required.  A $20 deposit is needed before the class to secure your enrollment, and to ensure that enough materials and ammunition are available for you.
