We hope to get more Instructors involved in training in 2007. If any of the existing Instructors would like to become part of the Training Team, let me know. We will then advertise on the Club and NRA Website and provide you with students.
If anyone is interested in becoming a Certified Instructor in Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Home Firearm Safety or Reloading, check out the schedule below. These certification workshops are open to people that have experience and are proficient in any of these disciplines. Most of the workshops are two day programs and will be held on weekends. They average 17 hours each.
The Training Department at NRA has had a general fee increase for training materials so the cost of to RRRC Members will be $120.00 for all courses except Rifle (which is a full 3 day course), which will be $165.00. The cost for Non-Members will be $130.00 and Rifle will be $175.00. Existing Instructors can deduct $45.00 from the above fees. These fees include all of the training material that you will need to conduct your courses. If you check the NRA Website Under “Classes in your area” you will see that these fees are about 40% less than the average fees charged. We are trying to provide the best deal for anyone that is interested. Basic classes in all of the above disciplines will also be offered. The fees will be $55.00 for RRRC members and $65.00 for non-members.
REGISTRATION FOR ALL CLASSES MUST BE MADE NO MORE THAN TWO WEEKS
BEFORE THE CLASS DATE AND WILL REQUIRE A $40.00 DEPOSIT IN ADVANCE.
